Events Coordinator
LCJ Logistics & Management is looking for an events coordinator for one of its clients. We seek an individual who has experience organizing both in-person and virtual events. As our client shifts to virtual events, we are seeking someone who has strong experience with producing and maximizing an online event and savvy with social media promotion in order to attract donors and successfully fundraise at levels that have been done at off-site venues.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with planning, coordinating and executing logistics for internal, off-site and virtual events including the annual fall gala, spring fundraiser, graduation ceremony, cultivation, and real estate events.
• Responsible for creating proposals of timeline for event collateral, including but not limited to invitation production, social media campaigns, other mail/online outreach
• Manage the creation and dissemination of invitations and maintain guest lists
· Work closely with client’s internal department partners and stakeholders as well as external vendors to support event logistics and objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to raise substantial funds for both in-person and online events.
• Ensure consistent high quality service and execution standards when working with donors and staff. A strong attention to detail is essential for the successful implementation and maintenance of timelines, collateral materials, mailing lists, event attendees, seating and table arrangements, event Run of Show, day of details, income tracking and donor acknowledgements.
• Complete other relevant tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and event planning background required. Minimum of two year's administrative experience, non-profit preferred. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to provide effective and high-touch customer service for donors and internal and external vendors. Ability to work with diplomacy and tact and maintain confidentiality. Knowledge of Google and Microsoft suites, internet proficiency and research databases required. • Knowledge of Raiser's Edge a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite & Graphic Design a plus.
• Knowledge and skill with Zoom, Google Video Meet, other virtual meet programs
• Strong customer service, time management, and creative thinking skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs, maintain deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects.
· Ability to function in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
· Must be willing to work nights and weekends as determined by event needs.
