Sr. Consultant, Special Projects

The Sr. Consultant, Special Projects will evaluate correspondence across the entire value chain and make recommendations to streamline and improve materials and processes while providing subject matter expertise and direction on complex projects/initiatives for LCJ. The Sr. Consultant will also act as a subject matter expert to applicable internal/external stakeholders. They will research trends and opportunities and help to develop complex programs and processes to close gaps and ensure growth. They will consult and collaborate with stakeholders to enable delivery of business results through project work to support process changes and performance management strategies.


  • Job Responsibilities

    • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.

    • Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.

    • Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

    • Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

    • Provides direction on complex assignments, projects, and/or initiatives to build and enhance the capability of their assigned area(s) of responsibility.

    • Researches and analyzes complex performance data for business and analytical value.

    • Determines and communicates research recommendations to complex problems and supporting analysis to management.

    • Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to management and key stakeholders on identified process improvements that impact efficiency, departmental capabilities and/or return on investment.

    • Develops complex business requirements for assigned area(s) of responsibility.

    • Consults and acts as a subject matter expert to appropriate internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.

    • Identifies, documents and delivers findings that can support complex business process improvements, performance and/or customer experience improvements.

    • Maintains tracking, measurement and accountability programs for various initiatives.

    • Provides timely updates to internal and external stakeholders regarding relevant information from other areas across the enterprise.

    • Responds to complex inquiries and needs from other business units and enterprise divisions.

    Job Requirements:

    • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required

    • 7+ Years of experience in continuous improvement that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 3 + years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience (Required )
